Source of the Nile Tour Itinerary

8:00am – Depart Kampala
Begin your scenic drive eastwards through Uganda’s countryside toward Jinja.

10:30am – Source of the Nile Boat Experience
Arrive in Jinja and board a boat from the Sailing Club for a 1-hour cruise to the Source of the Nile. Along the way, visit the Old Power Dam area and the historic Mahatma Gandhi Monument, a site of deep cultural significance. After the cruise, transfer to your lodge, hotel, or residence.

12:00 noon – Lunch Break

2:00pm – Jinja Town & Heritage Walk
