Itinerary
Set off from Kampala at 8:00am, traveling through Uganda’s picturesque countryside to the vibrant town of Jinja. Your adventure begins at the Sailing Club with a captivating 11:00am boat cruise to the legendary Source of the Nile, the birthplace of the world’s longest river. Along the way, visit the historic Mahatma Gandhi Monument, a symbol of peace and heritage.
After a relaxed lunch break, continue to the stunning Busowoko Falls, where a guided tour reveals cascading waters, lush surroundings, and perfect photo spots. Later, check in at the elegant Source of the Nile Hotel, Jinja. As evening falls, choose to explore Jinja’s lively nightlife or unwind and soak in the calm riverside atmosphere.
Enjoy breakfast, then check out at 10:00am and head to the Uganda Railway Museum. This one-hour visit offers a fascinating glimpse into Uganda’s railway history and its role in shaping the nation. Afterwards, begin your relaxed return journey to Kampala.
