After breakfast, depart Kigali for Akagera National Park. Upon arrival, check in and attend an introductory session on Rwanda’s savannah ecosystem, park management, and conservation efforts. Evening discussion and reflection.

Early morning game drive through the park to observe the Big Five and other wildlife species. Students learn about animal behaviour, habitats, food chains, and biodiversity. Picnic lunch in the park followed by field note-taking and group assignments.

Morning boat cruise on Lake Ihema to study aquatic ecosystems, bird species, hippos, and crocodiles. Afternoon session focusing on climate, wetlands, and environmental protection.

Educational visit to a nearby community to understand human-wildlife coexistence and sustainable livelihoods. Students engage in interactive discussions about conservation challenges and solutions.

Students participate in guided nature walks and practical learning activities. In the afternoon, groups present research findings and reflections based on observations made throughout the tour.

Breakfast at the lodge followed by transfer back to Kigali. Optional souvenir stop before airport drop-off for departure.
