Itinerary
Arrive in Nairobi, where you connect to a scheduled flight into the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve.
Spend three days on exhilarating game drives, focusing on the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and, seasonally, the Great Wildebeest Migration. The Mara is also prime territory for lions, cheetahs, and leopards, offering exceptional photographic opportunities.
Fly from Kenya to Entebbe International Airport, Uganda, then transfer to Kibale National Park, East Africa’s primate capital.
Enjoy a guided chimpanzee tracking experience, observing these intelligent primates in their natural rainforest habitat, followed by forest walks and community interactions.
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a stop in the Ishasha sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions.
Enjoy classic savannah game drives and scenic landscapes before continuing to the misty highlands of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
This is the emotional highlight of the safari. After a ranger briefing, trek through dense forest to encounter a family of endangered mountain gorillas. Spending time in their presence is a deeply moving and unforgettable conservation experience.
Cross into Rwanda via the scenic Lake Bunyonyi route, continuing to Volcanoes National Park.
Enjoy Golden Monkey tracking, a lighter and playful primate experience set against Rwanda’s volcanic landscapes.
Conclude the journey with a Kigali city tour, including cultural landmarks and the Kigali Genocide Memorial, before your departure.
