Itinerary
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Kampala. Evening at leisure, preparing for the adventure ahead.
Explore Uganda’s largest national park with game drives, spotting elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, and rhinos. Take a boat cruise along the Nile, marvelling at hippos and crocodiles while enjoying scenic views of the river and waterfalls.
Travel to Kibale Forest, home to 13 primate species. Embark on chimpanzee trekking, guided by experienced rangers, and take a walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, learning about birdlife and community-led conservation.
Head to the misty forests of Bwindi, where you will trek to encounter endangered mountain gorillas, observing their complex social interactions. Visit a Batwa pygmy community to learn about their culture, history, and sustainable tourism initiatives.
Cross into Rwanda via scenic routes, optionally stopping at Lake Bunyonyi for breath-taking views. Arrive in Volcanoes National Park, the home of Rwanda’s mountain gorillas.
