Itinerary
Depart Kampala for Fort Portal. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy an evening city tour, visiting the Tooro Kingdom Palace, local markets, and viewpoints overlooking the town.
Start the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park, home to one of Africa’s highest primate concentrations. Alternatively, explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for birding and monkey sightings. In the afternoon, visit and hike around the nearby crater lakes.
Enjoy a relaxed morning hike to a crater lake summit for sweeping views of the Rwenzori Mountains. After lunch, begin your return drive to Kampala.
